Yes, you read in the title, my Hudson boy did a rollover! But only once.
I had gone over to my parents for a late brunch and we were out all morning and forgot to pack two cloth diapers, so we ended up putting one of my mom's disposables on him. Now I don't know if it was the lack of 'bulk' on that kids little bum that helped him do a sunny-side-up, but he sure can't seem to get the bulk totally over when trying to rollover now.
Every time I put him down for a nap he spends the first 20 minutes just laying their wide-eyed, trying to get that belly up and off the bed. He rolls, and if his little arm wasn't caught behind his massive diaper, I'm sure he would rollover. Oh well Hudson, you have to learn to rollover with your clothes ON.
He's also trying oh so hard to crawl. While having no luck rolling over again, he brought his knees right up under him and pushed his arms under as well, and curled his back up and it was about 4 or 5 inches off the ground, he tried this for another 10 minutes too.. until finally the little man got so tired, he decided it was time for bed, and I put the covers back on him and his eyes shut... and as we speak, he's still sleeping.
How is that for impressive? Daddy and Momma are definitely proud parents tonight. I'm sure this is all normal for a 4 month, 3 week old baby.. but he is actually becoming mobile!
YAY, go Hudson. You're such a smart boy!

That is so cute!!! I love the little bum in that diaper! I think the bulk does add to it being harder for them to roll my mom noticed that to when she let Owen hang out in the buff!
I love it Sara! You should get a Swaddlebees Waterproof diaper bag.. they are huge, and when they pee it catches all the pee.. it's awesome!
Hud loves jiggeling around in the buff!!
His diapers are very cute! Once he gets rolling he'll be doing it all the time. I'm looking forward to crawling, and for Jax to be able to get himself from his belly back to sitting, now i have to do it for him when he wants to change positions.
