Good thing facebook and friends relay news to me, otherwise I would be in a hole.
But I just found out that Ohio, has passed a law that no abortions are allowed.
"If a heartbeat is detected, the baby is protected." Known as the "Heartbeat Bill".
As most know, I'm a anti-abortionist. I don't believe there is a good reason to have one ever. Trust me, I've been there..
When I got pregnant with Hudson, the thought crossed my mind, but I would never go through with it, and if I had.. I wouldn't have such a amazing, perfect and happy little boy!

People often look at abortion as a way out, well what if I got rapped and I got pregnant? Yes, that would be terrible.. but that baby is also half yours, and if you had a abortion to end that little babies life, you would be taking that babies voice and life, knowingly..
If babies could talk, I'm sure they would cry to keep and love them. But babies can't.

I guess my thoughts on this subject are even stronger now that I've my own baby, and am pregnant with another.
I could never take their lives away..Getting pregnant when I did with Hudson was a very hard and confusing time for me, and would of been a good excuse to have a abortion, but all things can be made right..
God gave me little Hudson, and he turned my world, up-side-down, in a good way.. He's made me a better, stronger and more patient person.
Anyways, these are my views, and I'm so excited to see this law/bill passed in other states and provinces!
Here's the link for the Ohio "Heartbeat Bill".. there are a few others, I just liked this one.

It's also important to say that most women who get abortions are not in their teens as we usually believe they are mostly between the ages of 20-29! A very good percentage of them also get abortions because they want to pursue careers or higher education...!
Abortion is not an option, using preservatives or abstinence are!
I don't think I stated that abortions are mostly in their teens.
I was almost 21 when the thought crossed my mind.. I know others when it's crossed their mind as well, being in their 2O's..
To give up a child, to pursue a career, is sickening..
All the power to the mamas who have their kids AND pursue their careers..
Thanks for the comment, it's so true!
as someone who has tried for two years to have a child, it is heartbreaking for me when i think about abortion. I have cried thousands of tears over my un-concieved child. how i would give anything to hold my own baby in my arms. i love and appreciate your passion for life jess. you really are an inspiration!
Although I myself, would never choose to have an abortion. I just don't believe it is the right thing to do. Saying this, I do believe that as women you should have the option of abortion available. But not with out counselling and guidance that that would be the right choice for you. What about incest and rape cases? Also, what about babies conceived by drug addicts and abusive parents? Would these babies be better born into a life of poverty and abuse. If you do studies on what babies born addicted to drugs suffer through and the statictics of how they grow up to further abuse drugs and live a life of crime and despair. This is not a way to live. I also worked with a young man who had fetal alchohol syndrome and his life was far from perfect. He was very challenged and although he could hold a job he was never going to be the person who goes to school and makes a good life for himself. Again, I do not believe abortion is always the right way to go. But I do think about all the babies and children born to abusive neglectful parents and know that that is no way to live. Especially after they end up dead from drug overdose or prostitution. I think we need to support other women, being women ourselves, and keep all available options open. Having that said, abortion shouldn't be used as a birth control but a well thought option.
Very true.. although, I disagree.
I was rapped at 17, and my virginity was taken.
I went down to my Doctors Office, and took the "Morning After Pill"..
Which, I don't believe is abortion, the fetus and cells aren't even formed yet.
Regardless, I don't believe abortion is right in any case. It's killing a innocent child's life.
This is not to say that those of my friends or people I know who have had one, I will judge... never!
But, personally, this is what I believe.
