Room Crazy!

We've moved around so much this year and Hudson hasn't had a steady nursery. In fact, he spent five months of his eleven months in a room with us!
We plan to stay a while in this new place, and so I've decided to re-do his room.
Right now it consists of white bland walls, no rug, old shabby chic furniture, and really not a room a little man of almost one should call his own! It's definitely not fun, he doesn't even like playing in it!

I plan to sew my own curtains, paint, and really re-do and redecorate! We're going to pick up his new espresso change table & Crib tonight..
We plan to keep his old shabby chic dresser and change up the handles with glass knobs.

One idea that the mommy blogger gave us is that when you're picking a color for your babies room. Paint your favorite color! Then accessorize with other colors!
I thought hmm... my favorite color is a ocean-green-blue-cucumber color.. definitely way too vibrant! So I will be toning it down with a bit of white paint mixed it, to give it a much more softer paler look.

I want to find some white shelves, and some cute baskets, and a giant basket for his load of diapers.
I also need to find a new chair that is more appropriate for us to sit in. Right now we have a glider, but I find it's not as comfy when Huddy and I are both squished in the chair to read bed-time stories.
