A Snow Day

As most of you know, I love snow. I love snow so much, I daily check updates from the weather Channel, 43. As well as the website.
I don't know where my love for snow grew, and why it's not diminished now that I'm a adult.. but when I see that white fluff come down from the heavens, my heart smiles.. regardless of what kind of day I'm having.

This year we were promised a lot of the white stuff. But so far, we've only had 3 dumps, and all have melted in the same day.

Last night we were hit with a whole FOOT of snow within 12 hours. Lucky we have a great plowing system, at least, near my roads.. So we had no problem getting out with our snow tires. But I woke up at Eight this morning to the sound of cars that wont budge. Tires squealing to gain traction, and snow plows.

I had wanted to take my little man out for a play, but it's now 7 degrees outside and everything is melting. It would most probably be a wet/cold play!

I'm hoping for a few more snow days before we welcome our wonderful summer. Days spent BBQing, swimming, Air drying diapers on a line, and sun dresses.
